Sunshine Award

I was awarded the Sunshine award by the Confused Bawarchis. How cool?!  They wanted me to answer the following questions, I hope you enjoy.

  1. If you could have just about anything to eat in one day without having to feel guilty, what are the top 5 things that you would eat? I could live off of cheese, bread and grapes. I’ll add in Mac-N-Cheese and Meatballs, too!
  2. What is your favorite post that you’ve written? It’s a tie. I really enjoyed writing “My Bad Church Experience” because I got such amazing feedback from it and I really think it has helped someone out there.  “Let the Cards Fall” was fun because I really got to flex my writing muscle.  I haven’t written a story around a metaphor since I left journalism a year ago.
  3. Chocolate or chili? I’m more of a savory person than sweet…EXCEPT when it comes to chocolate!
  4. If you were to go on any reality TV show, what would it be? The Amazing Race.  I love to travel.
  5. Other than blogging what do you do in your free time? My husband and I love to hike.  There’s lots of hiking here in Vegas.
  6. Pink or Black? Definitely Pink!
  7. What was the last thing you googled? Blogging tips
  8. How would you like it if you had no phone and the internet for a day? I actually don’t check my phone or internet when on vacation…but on a normal day, I think I’d go a little stir crazy.
  9. What is your opinion on selfless? I don’t understand them!  Have you seen the selfie fails?  If not, go check them out NOW.
  10. Where are you taking your next holiday?  We are waiting to see where we get stationed next.  If we don’t get stationed on the West Coast, probably San Francisco and Napa.

A big thanks again to the Confused Bawarchis!

So, the rules are pretty easy for this one. If you do accept the award then:

  • Include the Sunshine Award icon in your post and/or on your blog;
  • Add the link of the award presenter’s blog who awarded you;
  • Answer the  questions the award presenter has set for you;
  • Present the  award  to the blogs that you enjoy (preferably those who haven’t already received this award);
  • Notify the awardees by leaving a comment on their blog  and link their blogs on your post; and
  • Create 10 questions for your awardees to answer.

So for those bloggers who are the proud recipients of the Sunshine Award and who do accept it , here are your questions:

  1. If you could have just about anything to eat in one day without having to feel guilty, what are the top 5 things that you would eat?
  2. What is your favorite post that you’ve written?
  3. Chocolate or chili?
  4. If you were to go on any reality TV show, what would it be?
  5. Other than blogging what do you do in your free time?
  6. Pink or Black?
  7. What was the last thing you googled?
  8. How would you like it if you had no phone and the internet for a day?
