Shrimp Po’boys Recipe

My friends from the gulf coast recently made these at a couples baby shower we threw. To read about the shower click here.  I think this is a great party meal or just a fun weekend meal for the family. These are also SUPER easy.

Shrimp Po’boys

Ingredients:

Shrimp

1 egg

Small carton of whole milk

Shrimp Fry (use Fish Fry if you can’t find it)

Good bread from the bakery

Sauce of choice

Other sandwhich toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion) optional

Salt, Pepper

Fry Oil

Directions:

Crack egg in bowl and pour in your milk, beat. Throw your raw shrimp in and let it soak for a bit. Dip shrimp in shrimp fry. Put shrimp in fryer and fry until crispy. Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Put shrimp in sandwich bread, add toppings, and you’re done.
