The One Thing People Should Know about Down Syndrome

The one thing you should know about Down syndrome

The Mighty asked their Down syndrome contributors to tell people what’s the one thing they should know about DS. The video is in honor of World Down syndrome Day, 3/21.  Personally, only having a newborn with Down syndrome, I felt a little unqualified to participate.  However, I decided that there is at least one thing I’ve learned about DS since Anderson’s diagnosis.  Parents of older children with Down syndrome have told me this time and time again.  I love how the video turned out, I especially love the answers from people with Down syndrome!
